Environmental Policy

At Delta Document Solutions, we recognise that our operations have an effect on both the local and global environment. As a consequence, we are committed to improving our environmental performance and prevention of pollution on a continual basis.

We observe environmental regulations, laws and codes of practice which set the minimum standard of environment performance, but we seek not only to reach, but exceed these wherever possible.

We promote the use of user accounting, document management and print auditing to help us to minimise waste and we encourage this principle throughout the whole of our organisation, and with our customers.

Such technologies include the use of PDAs for electronic distribution of machine data and electronic service manuals which reduce paper consumption significantly.

This technology also allows coordinated route planning which allows us to realise the dual benefits of reduced fuel consumption and lower emissions.

The hardware products we supply offer industry leading standards in environmental responsibility, such as the Green Card and Seeds for Africa campaigns.

Delta Document Solutions, maintains that a primary part of its environmental strategy is sustainable waste management. As such we recognise our responsibilities to recycle materials wherever possible.

We also consider the environmental impact of our products through all stages of their lifecycle, from manufacture through to disposal.

All policies are continually reviewed to ensure that we are meeting and exceeding our performance standards, and that we are complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
